◇ A Victorian Englishman travels to the far future and finds that humamity has divided into two hostile speciesコロンビアに到着したジョーンは誘拐犯の指定した場所へ向かおうとするが、突然あらわれた男に騙され行き先の違うバスに乗ってしまう。ジョーンを狙っていたのは姉を誘拐した犯人一味だけではなかったのだ。彼女の義兄が彼女に送った封筒の中身は巨大エメラルドのありかを示した地図だったのだ。誘拐犯の手下（ダニー・デ・ビート）はジョーンと出遭えずあわてて彼女の後を追う。 Awesome tale and very good acting by the lead actor Rod Taylor about a man who travels into a far distant future where all signs of a normal civilized society has been completely wipe out. I'm pretty sure this movie can be remade with the special effects of today and make a better design of the the time machine and costumes/makeup etc. but they will probably fail in delivering the goods. Solid acting especially in a sci-fi film. With that said it will still be worth a look at a remake's future version. ◇ 『インディー・ジョーンズ』の大ヒットにより作られたと思われる冒険路線作品。ただしこちらのヒーローはお金にがめつくて妙に人間くさくて良い。 キャスリーン・ターナーがきれい。主な出演者：
